Work with us
ADAPT works with organisations and whānau to make inclusive neighbourhoods a reality. Here’s how you can get involved.

Let’s build a future where everyone has a place to belong
Property developers
New property developments are an opportunity for creating supported neighbourhoods within a community. We can provide building plans and advice to support property developers to build inclusive communities.
Disability and community organisations
As providers of support services, community organisations are well placed to adopt neighbourhood living principles. If you are a community organisation and you want to build inclusive housing or adapt housing to be more inclusive, get in touch.
Families and whānau
Families and whānau may want to make changes to their own home to support family members with intellectual disabilities thrive.
Get in touch
ADAPT’s vision is to see more homes built using inclusive design. That’s why we’re committed to sharing the Neighbourhood Living concept, not owning it.
We partner with government, community housing and disability support organisations, developers and builders, and investors to build universal design homes and inclusive neighbourhoods in communities in Aotearoa.
